Rhyleah Hylands is a passionate self-taught artist and second year Jewellery Art & Design student from Vancouver, BC. With a foundation in painting and textile art, she is a versatile mixed-media artist inspired by surrealism, some eerie and strange, profound and wonderful, and anything else that strikes her.

Rhyleah’s creative journey began early, fuelled by curiosity and determination, wanting to create with just about anything she could get her hands on. She finds happiness in taking an entire process from start to finish, with every little detail, and the satisfaction of being able to say “I made that”.

Rhyleah thrives in environments that foster continuous learning and creative problem-solving, where she can expand her skills and take on new challenges. Her goal is to merge her many talents into meaningful work. With a deep passion for creating, she aspires to continue growing as an artist and jeweller, contributing her unique perspective wherever she goes.
